During the phone consultation, i'll collect some information about your situation, answer questions you might have, and review logistics.
If my training and experience would be a good fit for your needs, we'll schedule an initial appointment.
If another clinician's training and experience would be a better fit for your needs, i'll provide a referral - fit between therapist and client is extremely important for therapy to be successful.
During the initial session(s), we'll review the intake documents, explore your current circumstances, discuss your therapy goals, and begin collaborating on a plan for your therapy.
When therapy begins, meetings are most often weekly or bi-weekly. Therapy is an investment of your time and money, and meetings at this frequency will provide a strong start toward your goals.
